Meet Mrs. Nash
I am so glad you’ve decided to stop in and visit our site. Visitors are always welcome — and comments are appreciated!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jenny Nash. I am a fourth grade literacy teacher at Chets Creek Elementary in Jacksonville, Florida. I love my job, my school and my students. I am infatuated with books and collect them with a passion that borders on obsession. (Just ask my husband!) In addition to being an avid reader, I am also a practicing writer. I enjoy sharing my reading and writing experiences with friends, family, students…and just about anyone who will listen!
I also have another passion in life — my family. I am a proud mother of two precious little girls, Emma and Laura. This year, Emma will be a second grader at Chets Creek, while Laura will enjoy her final year at her beaches area preschool. My husband is a firefighter for Jacksonville Beach Fire Department. My students will most likely get the opportunity to meet him during the year, as he occasionally makes classroom appearances for fire safety/prevention lessons and other “duties” (i.e. assembling bookshelves, etc.).
Please remember to subscribe to our site so you will stay informed. This blog is a quick and convenient way to stay informed about classroom “happenings”, reading, writing, and homework strategies, AND MORE!
Thanks for stopping in! Hope to see you back soon!
Yours truly,
Mrs. Nash
