You’re right, that freeze frame is so silly! But I bet your kids will enjoy it. You are I are so much alike. My eyes drool when I see new books too. I devour new books and would read non-stop if I could. But, we’re different in the liking to own books…I got so many books at one point that I didn’t have a place to put them! So I started giving books away and now I almost never buy and keep a book. Many of my books are purchased on iPad now. Those are easy to store…teehhee. I can’t wait to hear some about what your students say about their lives as readers!
Thats right! When I go to the library, I always look for books that are interesting to read. Last year, I went with my friends and we stayed there for about two hours. I was reading the whole time flipping pages. I enjoyed reading for two hours with excitement and becoming a better reader. I love to read a lot. Every night I do my RAH. I read 20 minutes each night. I always learn new vocabulary words and about the author. I LOVE READING.
